Summary:
Our client, a renowned, pioneering Law Firm, is looking to recruit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their Wealth Management team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in Newton Abbot, your duties will be centered around providing technical advice to families, business-owners, farmers and high net worth individuals. You will be a technically skilled solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who has ideally already successfully achieved a STEP Diploma qualification.
What will you be doing as a Wealth Management Solicitor?
- Managing complex and high value estates, requiring the successful application of reliefs and exemptions surrounding Inheritance Tax.
- Communicating with HMRC in order to achieve the best possible client solutions.
- Advising business owning families about the tax implications of passing their business down through the generations, in particular with regards to Wills and Trusts.
- Taking the opportunity to shape not only your own legal career but also the future of your team by providing input into their growth and development plan.
Skills/Qualifications of a Wealth Management Solicitor:
- You should be a skilled Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who has either successfully achieved a STEP Diploma qualification or equivalent, or is instead working towards it.
- You should be around 6 years qualified with sound experience in Wealth Management work.
- You should be eager to take on a supervisory role and make yourself the first point of contact for other members of the team.
- You should be ambitious and eager to build your future with the firm.
- You should possess a business development mindset with a desire to help expand and develop the firm’s client base.
