Our client, an independent Financial Advisory firm whose mission is to help people feel empowered about their financial future is seeking a Trainee Financial Advisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers Hybrid flexible working with regular access to the Exeter office.
Trainee Financial Advisor responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, manage client communications, and coordinate financial planning services to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Assist in preparing for client meetings, analysing financial data, and helping clients with retirement planning, investment strategies, and risk management
- Stay updated on financial regulations, engage in continuous professional development, and participate in firm-wide projects to enhance service delivery
- Work towards becoming a qualified Financial Adviser with a clear path for career advancement, supported by a comprehensive learning and development program
Skills, Qualifications and Experience of the Trainee Financial Advisor:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Relevant financial qualifications (ideally working towards CII/LIBF) with a plan to achieve further certification
- High ethical standards and a client-focused approach
