Up to £45k DOE | Growing Technical Environment Consultancy
Our client, an established and growing environment consultancy with a 25-year track record is seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join their team based close to Exmoor in Somerset.
Main responsibilities include:
- Design and supervise delivery of environmental-based development projects (including audits and environmental impact assessments)
- Project manage, prepare and submit planning applications (and appeals) and supporting environmental information
- Prepare and submit responses to new legislation and regulations on behalf of clients
- Project management of sub-contractors and specialist consultants
Skills & qualifications requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Town Planning, Estate Management, Environmental Science or similar
- Proven experience of working for either a consultancy, regulator or contractor previously
- Proven experience of leading, managing and delivering successful environmental-based development projects
- Sound knowledge of conducting desk studies and undertaking site-based work

This is an in-office role with regular travel to client sites.
