Our client based in Budleigh Salterton is looking for an experienced Senior Administrator. As a Senior Administrator you will need to be meticulously organised, have great communication skills and is able to work to your own initiative, under minimum supervision.

This role offers flexible hours within the following work patterns 8 am – 4 pm, 9 am – 5 pm or 10 am – 6 pm. Monday – Friday 37 hours per week.

Note: the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month there is an evening meeting between 7 pm – 9 pm

Senior Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements, handle communications, prepare agendas and minutes, and execute organisational decisions.
  • Handle financial administration, monitor bank accounts, manage invoices, prepare annual accounts, and draft budgets and funding proposals.
  • Manage employment conditions, ensure compliance with insurance and risk assessment requirements, and maintain corporate records.
  • Manage public communication, acting as first point of contact, representing the company, organise events, and ensure good communication with local groups and organisations

Senior Administrator requirements include:

  • Proven track record in delivering administrative support within a professional environment.
  • Hold a CiLCA qualification or demonstrate readiness to obtain certification within 12 months.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capability to prioritise tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Previous experience in local government, council administration, or finance is advantageous.
