Our client, a well-established company, is looking for a proactive Sales & Logistics Coordinator to support their busy operations team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in logistics, a head for numbers, and a keen eye for detail. Based in Exeter, the role will begin fully office-based, transitioning to a hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 from home) after training.
The Role:
As Sales & Logistics Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing your own set of customer accounts from start to finish. This includes processing and fulfilling orders, handling shipments, and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout. You’ll be a key part of the operations team, keeping everything running smoothly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales & Logistics Coordinator:
- Manage customer orders from initial receipt to final delivery
- Handle all logistics and shipping coordination
- Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts
- Work closely with suppliers to meet delivery requirements
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and accuracy at all stages
- Produce and analyse reports related to orders and performance
What We’re Looking For in the Sales & Logistics Coordinator :
- Experience working in a logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Confident working with numbers and managing data
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
