About the role

Joining this successful and reputable law firm based in Exmouth, you will be undertaking fee earning work focussed on Residential Conveyancing matters, including:

  • Working as part of a busy, established, and supportive team
  • Running your own varied caseload of Conveyancing cases
  • Taking instructions, dealing with client queries over the phone and in person
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders and third parties
  • Preparing, advising, and drafting necessary documents

The Residential Property team is a busy environment where no two days are quite the same. With plenty of work and lots of opportunity for client contact and good quality partner supervision as needed, you will be encouraged to take responsibility for your files and provide the highest standards of client care. The caseload is varied, and though you will primarily be working on general residential property and conveyancing matters on property values of up to £3m, you will also handle some leasehold and new build files, and occasional agricultural property transactions.

Joining the team based in Exmouth, you will be working from their office for the majority of the time.

About you

You might be a UK qualified Residential Property Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or qualified Licensed Conveyancer and are accustomed to running your own files to a high standard with relative independence. With good prior experience in a local or regional law firm, you are comfortable working collaboratively within a busy team environment, liaising directly with clients and third parties in the interests of progressing each matter. You take pride in your work and are self-motivated to deliver great results to each client you work with.

You possess a good manner with clients and colleagues alike, being professional, perceptive, and calm under pressure when working to deadlines and prioritising your time. You’ll be keen to bring your insights and ideas to your new firm and contribute towards the collegiate and collaborative environment this firm proudly offers.
