We are a B-Corp certified, independent recruitment business with a long track record across the South West, and this new role sits at the heart of how we look after candidates, support our recruiters and present ourselves on LinkedIn.
The Role
You will be the link between our candidates and our recruiters. Most of your time will be spent talking to candidates, understanding their circumstances and what they want from their next move, and keeping our records accurate so the right next steps happen quickly. The rest of your week supports a team of six recruiters with the admin that keeps live roles moving, alongside helping to keep our LinkedIn presence active and consistent. It would suit someone from a customer-facing or telephone-based background who enjoys people, takes pride in accuracy and would like a way into recruitment.
Responsibilities for the Recruitment Resourcer & Administrator:
- Speak to candidates by phone, email and video, running initial screening conversations and registering them for live and future roles
- Build and refresh our talent pool through proactive outreach, and respond quickly to new registrations
- Keep our CRM accurate and up to date after every conversation, including GDPR consent
- Request and chase references and complete right to work, ID and compliance checks
- Support recruiters with CV formatting, interview arrangements and general admin, and join client meetings where helpful
- Post live roles and regular company content on LinkedIn, and use it to find and approach potential candidates
Requirements for the Recruitment Resourcer & Administrator include:
- Experience in a customer-facing or telephone-based role where you built rapport quickly and listened well
- A confident, articulate communicator in writing and on the phone
- High accuracy and attention to detail when recording information
- Comfortable using a CRM or database, and quick to learn new systems
- Confident using LinkedIn, with a good eye for clear, engaging written content
- An understanding of confidentiality and data protection, and the ability to work to tight deadlines
Benefits:
- £13.45 per hour (£26,228 full-time equivalent)
- 20 to 37.5 hours per week, part time or full time, must cover Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working after a settling-in period, based in central Exeter
- Temporary to start, with a view to permanent terms for the right candidate
- If made permanent: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off, and a 4% employer pension contribution
- A supportive, close-knit team and a genuine introduction to the recruitment industry
If you enjoy talking to people, like things done properly and would value a role that combines candidate contact, organisation and a bit of marketing, we would love to hear from you.
