£12.60/HOUR | TEMPORARY – ONSITE | EXETER 

Our client is a well-established organisation with a professional and welcoming office environment. They are seeking a Temporary Receptionist to provide essential front-of-house support during a short-term period, ensuring visitors and callers receive a warm and efficient service.

The Role:

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, callers and deliveries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing setting and can bring a calm, friendly and organised presence to a busy reception area.

The position will initially run from Wednesday 3rd December to Tuesday 9th December, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.

A short, paid training session will be provided in advance.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist: 

  • Welcome and assist visitors in a polite and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing queries to the appropriate team members.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and oversee deliveries.
  • Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support as required.

Requirements of the Receptionist: 

  • Previous reception or front-of-house experience is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, well-presented and confident using standard office technology.
  • Availability for a short training session prior to 3 December.
