We’re delighted to partner with this international UK Top 50 firm to recruit a Lawyer to work within their alternative legal services delivery group, which brings together a multidisciplinary team, process design and innovative legal technology. The team has over 100 lawyers, paralegals, management information specialists and legal project managers who provide a wide range of services and solutions to clients, and supports the wider business on high volume workstreams, end-to-end managed services and bespoke projects.  

 

About the role 

Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join their team. This role involves managing key workstreams for banking clients, supervising a small team of paralegals, and collaborating with partners and project managers to develop new services. You will also engage in bespoke projects and advocate for innovation within the legal process, providing leadership and expertise in legal technology and project management. 

In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated Real Estate team when projects and services intersect, while also championing innovation and service excellence within the firm. You will contribute to optimising legal processes and play a role in business development by helping to attract new clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to consolidate your existing knowledge, enhance your technical expertise, and gain valuable experience in project and people management, as well as emerging legal technologies. About you 

As a qualified Lawyer with recent UK based experience in Real Estate Finance or Banking within private practice, you will be comfortable leading on an established workstream for banking clients. You will have gained some experience in managing, supervising and mentoring a team and take a positive approach to working closely with project managers and legal technologists to enhance service offerings. Collaboration is a key aspect of this firm’s culture and you will have opportunity to work with the dedicated Real Estate team on overlapping projects. 

You will be a motivated and ambitious Lawyer who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and encourage your colleagues to do the same. You are readily able to demonstrate your strong analytical and communication skills and you can work strategically with clients and as part of a team. Being resilient to work under pressure by organising yourself effectively, you will be able to meet deadlines as needed. You will possess proven rapport-building skills and you are tenacious, thorough, and attentive to detail whilst appreciating the 'bigger picture' for your clients, taking pride in the high standards of your work. 

You will be looking to continue developing your skills and knowledge in order to progress your career as well as supporting the development of others in the team. Having a natural enthusiasm for business development activities to generate new workstream opportunities, you will help to extend the firms, and your own personal profile with a team of experts supporting you. 

The position requires the ability to work from the Bristol or Plymouth office for at least two days a week, with flexible remote working options available.
