A pioneering engineering organisation within the clean energy and sustainable technologies sector is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its growing team. The business operates in a fast-developing, environmentally focused industry and is committed to innovation, safety, and continuous improvement. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality engineered products and documentation in line with rigorous industry and ISO standards.

Role Overview:
This role plays a key part in ensuring product and process quality across the full engineering lifecycle. You will support the development of high-quality engineered systems through effective document control, quality inspections, risk analysis, and supplier liaison. Working closely with engineering, operations, and project teams, you will help maintain compliance, drive continuous improvement, and uphold the company’s strong culture of safety and technical excellence.

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

  • Manage and control engineering and project documentation, ensuring version control, traceability, and accessibility.
  • Conduct quality inspections, audits, and sign-off checks across engineering, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in engineering change control, non-conformance reporting, corrective actions, and product testing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality standards, documentation systems, and ISO processes are followed.

Requirements of the Quality Engineer:

  • At least three years’ experience in a technical, quality, or document control role.
  • HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Quality Engineering (or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage detailed technical documentation and follow ISO procedures.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally and upholding high standards of compliance, accuracy, and safety.
