Production Scheduler role within manufacturing company based in Devon. This world leading designer and manufacturer of precision equipment has International reach via its numerous global offices.
The role of a Production Scheduler involves coordinating and developing production schedules in order to meet goals. Ideally suited to motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven track record in manufacturing planning.
The individual will have an established track record in production planning, material planning and production scheduling.
Responsibilities of a Production Scheduler include;
-Creating, updating and controlling data with MRP system and production scheduling/planning spreadsheets.
-Monitoring works orders and advising sales teams on progress.
-Supporting the communication of production schedules.
-Allocating materials and monitoring shortages in conjunction with stores, planning and purchasing
-Working with management to execute and implement process improvements.
Skills/Experience required from a Production Scheduler include;
-Previous experience as Production Scheduler/Expeditor
-Having strong organisational and IT skills, with problem solving aptitude
-Having excellent communication and team work skills.
-Having familiarity within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
