The Role: 

This is a hands-on Product and Technical Sales Manager role, combining technical sales, product ownership and market development. Sitting at the centre of the company’s growth strategy, the position offers real influence over a key product range, working closely with customers, distributors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver effective, well-engineered solutions.

Reporting into the Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for driving sales performance, managing the product lifecycle and shaping future direction through market insight and customer engagement.

Responsibilities of the Product and Technical Sales Manager:  

  • Manage the sales, promotion and ongoing development of a defined range of technical products
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, preparing technical quotations and commercial proposals
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support product strategy through market research, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements of the Product and Technical Sales Manager:  

  • Experience in technical sales, product management or a commercially focused engineering role
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information clearly and confidently
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
