About the firm

Cathedral Appointments is delighted to partner with an ambitious national law firm that is renowned for its open and inclusive culture where teamwork and collaboration are key. With offices located across the UK, the firm believes in integrity and authenticity.

The firm’s ongoing success in winning new instructions finds them looking to expand their thriving team with a bright and pragmatic private client lawyer.

Ideally you will work from the Bristol office for part of each week. However, the firm will consider candidates who could work from one of their other offices, as well as those seeking a predominantly remote role with office contact time at a few intervals across each month.

About the role

As an experienced Private Client lawyer, you are likely to already be working at Associate or Senior Associate level in your current firm and are accustomed to playing a pivotal role within the team and wider department. The work encompasses high-quality local, regional, and national instructions and you will be providing advice to a varied client portfolio (including some High Net Worth individuals) on a range of matters including complex tax planning and trusts work through to the more traditional areas of estate administration and wills.

With your experience, you enjoy complex work and the opportunity to supervise and support the development of less experienced members of the team. Equally, your positive approach to networking with active and potential referrers in order to continually open up new business development opportunities will be important over time.

About you

As a positive and passionate Private Client Lawyer, you take pride in delivering excellent client service to the highest standards without any compromise on quality. You are confident in the technical advice you provide to colleagues and directly to clients, being able to consider and provide insightful and appropriate advice in each situation.
