Summary:
Cathedral Appointments is looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor to join a progressive, forward-thinking Law Firm on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in a beautiful location in either Exeter or Truro, you will become a valued and respected part of the firm’s Planning team and take charge of your own caseload. You should be a lawyer with 2-8 years PQE to your name, ideally gained from within the Planning Law sector.

What will you be doing as a Planning Solicitor?
- Undertaking a varied caseload encompassing all aspects of Planning work, including planning permission, appeals, CIL, s106 agreements, judicial review, highways and public rights of way.
- Engaging in administrative tasks such as Lexcel compliance.
- Playing your part in business development activities.
Skills/Qualifications of a Planning Solicitor:
- You should be a Lawyer with 2-8 years PQE, ideally acquired from within the Planning Law sector.
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Impeccable communication skills and a strong focus on exceptional client care.
- You should be a highly organised, proactive individual who can remain calm under pressure.
- You should be IT literate and able to effectively use a case management system.
