£50,000 - £60,000 DOE | Office based, with flexibility tailored to the role | North Devon
Our client, a high-performing and fast-paced private family office based in North Devon, is seeking a proactive and experienced professional to provide high-level diary and travel support to the principals and their wider team, alongside a varied mix of private family and business support.
The Role:
This role is suited to an adaptable, commercially minded professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves the intensity and variety of a different day, every day. A PA background is not essential: a senior administrator could be a good transfer. You will play a critical part in the smooth running of daily operations, with a particular focus on complex diary and travel management.
You will be tech savvy, able to read the room, work autonomously and see what needs to be done without being asked. The ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and deliver with discretion is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the PA:
- Provide high-level diary management and calendar coordination for the principals and their senior PA
- Organise complex door-to-door travel itineraries, including private travel arrangements
- Bring cost awareness to everything, presenting different solutions and recommending the best fit
- Manage varied duties spanning both private family and business support, including admin, event bookings and property-related tasks
- Identify and improve processes, using technology to work smarter
- Support with general team administration, record-keeping, and ad hoc business-related tasks
Key Requirements of the PA:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior administrative, coordinator or PA role, ideally within a private family office
- Tech savvy, with excellent IT skills, proficiency in MS Office and strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent judgement and discretion, able to read the room and work autonomously
- Detail-oriented and organised, with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Commercially minded and cost aware, comfortable weighing up options to find the best solution
- Flexible and dependable, able to work outside standard hours when required
Package:
- Salary of £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
- Office based, with flexibility for some hybrid work once fully established
- 25 days holiday
- Extra Benefits
If you're a committed and detail-driven professional looking for a varied and rewarding role in a unique family office environment, we'd love to hear from you.
