Up To £60k DOE | Hybrid Working | Taunton

Our client, a successful Financial Planning team, based in Taunton, are seeking an Pension & Benefits Consultant to join their team. As an Pension & Benefits Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of businesses and employers, focusing on workplace provisions like employee pension schemes, auto-enrolment, and group income protection.

This role offers hybrid working with regular access to the Taunton Office.

Responsibilities of the Pension & Benefits Consultant:

  • Manage a portfolio of business clients, advising on workplace provisions such as pensions, auto-enrolment, and group protection schemes
  • Conduct presentations and lead business development activities, attending networking events to expand your profile
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, delivering compliant advice and reports
  • Act as a role model, mentoring team members and paraplanners aspiring to progress into consultancy roles

Requirements of the Pension & Benefits Consultant:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS), ideally working towards Chartered status
  • Strong knowledge of workplace pensions, auto-enrolment, and group DIS
  • Experience in a fee-based environment with the ability to make informed, commercial decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and build relationships with clients and colleagues
