Our client, one of the South West’s leading Accountancy firms has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join their Payroll Management team in their Taunton office.

You will be a key member of the team in its day-to-day performance, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the clients receive the best possible client experience.

This role offers Hybrid and flexible working options.

Payroll Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Process payroll and pension information accurately and on time while managing a defined allocation of payrolls. clients and colleagues
  • Act as a key point of contact, resolving complex queries, and providing clear advice to clients and colleagues
  • Assist management by taking on advisory work and identifying value-add opportunities during client interactions
  • Support and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance and helping them develop within the team

Payroll Administrator requirements include:

  • CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or equivalent experience, with a desire to progress in the field
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work closely with team members, demonstrating flexibility and a client-focused approach under pressure
