Our client, a global Technology company, is looking for a part-time Procurement Coordinator to work at their offices based near Newton Abbot. The role is on a part-time basis and involves working Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:30.

 

The role of Procurement Coordinator involves:

 

 

  • Placing orders with external suppliers in a timely manner
  • Ensuring order acknowledgements are received, updated on the system and communicated internally as required
  • Monitoring supplier deliveries to ensure On-Time Delivery and that customer expectations are met
  • Handling Supplier RMA’s upon notification of any non-conforming product
  • Providing relevant data streams for KPI reporting
  • Generating & allocating works orders for manufacturing sites
  • Running of MRP to identify purchase order requirements.

 

 

The key skills/requirements of a Procurement Coordinator include:

 

 

  • Previous experience of purchasing, scheduling, MRP and general supplier management
  • High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Practical/hands on approach
  • Effective communicator
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency as a minimum
  • Experience of Sage200 advantageous
  • Knowledge of the international shipping process, Incoterms, and shipping documentation beneficial
