Our client, a global Technology company, is looking for a part-time Procurement Coordinator to work at their offices based near Newton Abbot. The role is on a part-time basis and involves working Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:30.
The role of Procurement Coordinator involves:
- Placing orders with external suppliers in a timely manner
- Ensuring order acknowledgements are received, updated on the system and communicated internally as required
- Monitoring supplier deliveries to ensure On-Time Delivery and that customer expectations are met
- Handling Supplier RMA’s upon notification of any non-conforming product
- Providing relevant data streams for KPI reporting
- Generating & allocating works orders for manufacturing sites
- Running of MRP to identify purchase order requirements.
The key skills/requirements of a Procurement Coordinator include:
- Previous experience of purchasing, scheduling, MRP and general supplier management
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Practical/hands on approach
- Effective communicator
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency as a minimum
- Experience of Sage200 advantageous
- Knowledge of the international shipping process, Incoterms, and shipping documentation beneficial
