About the role 

The Residential Property practice is one of the firm’s strengths, with quality clients seeking a premium service from a regionally based team. Working alongside other fee earners and consultants in the Residential Property team, you will: 

  • undertaking searches 
  • opening and closing files 
  • making Land Registry applications 
  • dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax returns 
  • engaging in regular communication with clients and third parties 
  • providing administrative support to the team when needed, which may include photocopying, scanning and filing 

The firm uses the Leap case management system and has adopted high standards of technology to create an more efficient working environment.  

About You 

You will have already gained some experience as a Paralegal in a Residential or Commercial Property team within private practice and be keen to develop your career within law. In this fast-paced environment, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to listen and follow instructions accurately, using your initiative, meeting deadlines and regularly reviewing your priorities to ensure agreed timescales are met. You will have excellent communication skills in all formats and be comfortable speaking with clients on the phone with little preparation. Over time, you will build your skills and knowledge to work with increased independence, actively supporting the team and other fee earners and ensuring high quality client work is completed at the right level.
