Introduction/Job Overview:
Network Surveyor - We are currently seeking a number of Network Surveyors based across the South West to join a rapidly growing and innovative telecoms business.
This is a busy and varied role and would suit someone who is looking for a field based role within a company and industry they progress. The main purpose of the role is to work alongside the GIS in the office to ensure the availability and suitability of utilising 3rd party infrastructure as well as providing new build installation documentation.
Please note that these roles involve field work, which will include working outdoors, standing for long periods and, often, walking long distances.
Responsibilities:
- Surveying 3rd party utility infrastructure.
- Conduct duct and chamber inspection to determine feasibility for use.
- Validate network designs.
- Taking ownership to deliver survey or validation results within time frames set out by JFL.
Requirements:
You will ideally have previous experience within a similar role or the telecoms industry, however, other backgrounds will be considered as full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team player and comfortable being part of a growing dynamic team.
- A full driving licence will be required
- Fibre Network design, construction and/or installation
- Overhead and underground knowledge of BT
