Our client, an independent Financial Advisory firm whose mission is to help people feel empowered about their financial future is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Mortgage & Protection Advisor, you will deliver the firm's client service proposition at the highest standards, comply with FCA rules as outlined in compliance procedures, and consistently generate the desired income from clients to achieve the company's stated goals.
Mortgage & Protection Advisor responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain professional relationships, handle client inquiries, and provide personalized mortgage and protection recommendations
- Stay updated on FCA regulations and industry trends, ensuring all advice and services are compliant
- Seek new business opportunities and maintain relationships with professional introducers and product providers
- Engage in continuous professional development and participate in firm-wide projects to enhance service delivery
Requirements of the Mortgage & Protection Advisor:
- Must be qualified to CII CF6, CII R01, and CII R05 or CeMAP equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser with a proven successful track record
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to handle complex financial data and provide clear advice
- Deep understanding of financial markets, mortgage, and protection policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, high ethical standards, and proficiency in relevant software
