Our client, one of the South West’s leading Accountancy firms is seeking a Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager to join the team in Yeovil. As a Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager, You will be responsible for ensuring that the clients in your portfolio receive the best possible client experience. You need to ensure the staff under your responsibility are mentored, developed, and helped to thrive

Responsibilities for the Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager:
- Manage the tax compliance work for a portfolio of clients across various industry sectors
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the department, including assigning work and developing junior team members
- Handle HMRC correspondence and client queries, managing tax-only client relationships
- Assist with tax planning projects, build relationships with work referrers, and attend networking events to identify new business opportunities
The requirements for the Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager:
- CTA qualified, with ACA/ACCA qualifications preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance, including personal and business tax regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver client service excellence
- Proven supervisory experience and the ability to manage the financial aspects of client work, including billing and debt management
