Mixed Tax Manager (2741)

Up to £70k DOE | Hybrid | Plymouth

Our client is an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers.  Due to growth, they have an opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. As the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of clients, taking on significant client-facing responsibilities, overseeing the portfolios managed by their team, and ensuring effective workflow planning and execution.

This role offers Hybrid working, with regular access to the Plymouth Office

Tax Manager responsibilities include: -

  • Deliver tax services and business advice to a diverse range of clients, from small startups to large corporations and high-net-worth individuals
  • Manage the tax compliance process for assigned clients, addressing their queries and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with internal departments to oversee client portfolios and ensure HMRC deadlines are adhered to
  • Play a key role in tax advisory services, leading or significantly contributing to advisory projects and assisting partners in project delivery

Tax Manager requirements include: -

  • You must hold a CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in multiple sectors is highly beneficial.
  • It is essential to have prior experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax within a practice environment
  • You should  have strong technical expertise and the capability to research complex tax legislation
