Summary:

Our client, a reputable, well-respected business, is looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to join their tech team in Plymouth on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around providing an excellent business service to the firm’s clients and helping the smooth operation of internal professional support teams. You should possess sound technical knowledge and have a track record of providing 1st and 2nd line support.

What will you be doing as a Service Desk Analyst?

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to the firm’s employees
  • Resolving issues and requests raised within the team quickly and efficiently.
  • Aiding in the day-to-day operation of technology and helping to ensure the smooth running of all laptop hardware, software, printers and smartphone devices.
  • Working within the ITIL framework in relation to incident, problem, change and asset management.
  • Overseeing the incident process from beginning to end.

Skills/Qualifications of a Service Desk Analyst:

  • You should have proven knowledge and a prior track record of providing 1st and 2nd line technical support.
  • You will be able to demonstrate impeccable customer service skills, and be able to work both independently and as a team.
  • You should possess some experience of working with and providing support for a range of Microsoft 365 business productivity tools.
  • You should have strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Your self-motivated nature and ability to use initiative will be essential in this role.
  • You will be able to meet deadlines with ease and keep calm under pressure.
