An award-winning, nationally respected Top 50 UK firm – based in Bristol – is seeking an exceptional Investigations & Employee Relations Consultant to join their specialist Workplace Investigations Team. The Role

This role forms part of the firm’s acclaimed Employment Team, comprising over 30 employment law and HR specialists. The successful candidate will provide expert investigation and ER consultancy support to a broad client base across sensitive and often high-profile matters.

The Responsibilities of the Investigations & Employee Relations Consultant:

  • Lead and support complex workplace investigations
  • Conduct interviews with professionalism and empathy
  • Analyse evidence and produce high-quality, impartial reports
  • Advise clients on sensitive issues including misconduct, discrimination, and whistleblowing
  • Collaborate closely with HR teams, legal professionals, and senior stakeholders

The Requirements of the Investigations & Employee Relations Consultant:

  • A strong ER and case management/investigation background
  • Extensive experience managing internal investigations
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law in practice
  • Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and clarity
