An established and growing organisation within the aviation sector,  offering a range of sales and leasing services, engineering, training and finally parts and sourcing services with locations across the UK. 

The Role: 

The Interim Financial Controller will play a key role in supporting the business’s financial operations for the next 3 - 6 months. This position involves preparing and analysing financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and delivering valuable insights to support informed decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller: 

  • Undertake the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts.
  • Oversee General Ledger integrity and reconcile monthly.
  • VAT returns.
  • Process data onto the new financial software
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

Requirements of the Interim Financial Controller: 

  • Qualified by Experience or AAT qualified
  • CIMA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified preferred but not essential
  • Strong technical accounting background with an understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • Able to work closely with peers and happy to be office based.
