Operating across multiple sites, the business is known for its collaborative culture and commitment to maintaining high financial standards during a period of increased activity.
Role Overview:
This Interim Financial Accountant position offers an excellent opportunity to join a small, dedicated finance team and make an immediate impact. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, with a particular focus on reconciliations across the business.
Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant:
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving variances
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are accurate and fully supported
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, identifying and resolving inconsistencies
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to address and resolve financial queries
Requirements of the Interim Financial Accountant:
- AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong background in reconciliations within a commercial finance environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy
