Role Overview:
This is a hands-on, customer-focused Installer role where you will visit service users in their homes to install and maintain digital telecare equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and supportive transition to new technology, helping users feel confident and secure. The position offers a mix of technical tasks and direct customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and helping others.
Responsibilities of the Installer:
- Install, programme, test, and maintain telecare equipment in customers’ homes
- Provide clear guidance and support to users on how to operate their equipment
- Manage your daily schedule to meet appointments and service targets
- Carry out basic repairs, equipment replacements, and stock management tasks
Requirements of the Installer:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information simply
- A patient, empathetic approach when working with vulnerable individuals
- Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
