Excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join an ambitious and innovative business. This is an exciting time to join the business as they have started a cloud migration and they are looking to recruit someone who can help design & implement this. The main purpose of the role is to maintain and optimise the full business operational IT stack using best practices throughout the business. The successful candidate will have previous experience at a 3rd line/Infrastructure Engineer level along with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills. Hybrid/Remote working opportunities are available.
Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and monitor all network, security, and computer systems to meet current and future requirements

Think security first and implement fit for purpose solutions across the technology stack

Test all changes to networks, hardware, software and hosted applications

Monitor technology security compliance in accordance with best practice standards, policies and procedures

Participate in the design, testing and implementation of hardware/software projects

Advise the procurement of IT equipment to be used across the estate
Requirements include:

Solid technical background in a Hybrid on-prem/cloud environment

Good working knowledge of O365 & Azure
-
Experience of administrating AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO

Experience in virtualisation software such as VMware or Hyper-V
