Hours: Full Time or Part Time Considered (4 days), Flexible Working Available
Excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled Human Resources Manager to join a dedicated HR team of a long-standing Exeter based charity. This role will involve overseeing the HR function, ensuring compliance, fostering employee development, and driving people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the charity’s goals.
- Line manage and develop the HR team.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and foster cultural change.
- Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion.
- Advise Senior Leadership on organisational change and complex employee relations.
- Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
- Implement performance management systems to boost productivity and engagement.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives.
- Support Apprentice learners and liaise with external providers.
- Oversee benefits management, HR systems, and process improvements.
- Ensure legal compliance in all HR activities.
Person Specification:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 accreditation.
- Proven experience as an HR professional.
- Previous experience of management would be highly beneficial.
- In-depth understanding of employment law and its practical application.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
