Exeter/Hybrid | Up to £40k DOE

Hours: Full Time or Part Time Considered (4 days), Flexible Working Available 

Excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled Human Resources Manager to join a dedicated HR team of a long-standing Exeter based charity. This role will involve overseeing the HR function, ensuring compliance, fostering employee development, and driving people initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the charity’s goals. 
  • Line manage and develop the HR team. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and foster cultural change. 
  • Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion. 
  • Advise Senior Leadership on organisational change and complex employee relations. 
  • Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding processes. 
  • Implement performance management systems to boost productivity and engagement. 
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives. 
  • Support Apprentice learners and liaise with external providers. 
  • Oversee benefits management, HR systems, and process improvements. 
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR activities. 

 Person Specification: 

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 accreditation. 
  • Proven experience as an HR professional. 
  • Previous experience of management would be highly beneficial. 
  • In-depth understanding of employment law and its practical application. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
