Role Overview:
This is a varied and impactful HR Business Partner role, supporting commercial and support functions including retail, fundraising, finance, IT, and estates. You will work closely with managers to provide pragmatic HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on early intervention, coaching, and achieving positive outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to shape people practices, influence decision-making, and contribute to a culture of learning and development.

Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

  • Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice across a wide range of employee relations matters, from first line queries to more complex cases
  • Support workforce planning, role design, and the development of learning and career pathways
  • Use data and insight to identify trends, inform decision-making, and enhance people management capability
  • Contribute to HR projects, organisational priorities, and the continuous development of people practices

Requirements of the HR Business Partner:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience) with strong generalist HR knowledge
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues and supporting organisational change
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and coaching approach
  • Sound understanding of employment law, HR best practice, and data protection principles
