Head of Finance opportunity to join a highly successful digital focused company whose offices are based in East Devon. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the management of the finance function as well as the smooth running of management systems and processes.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis with part time hours over 3-4 days per week, offering a favourable work-life balance.
Responsibility for Head of Finance:
- Ensuring that all financial plans are developed and implemented effectively and providing management across the business to other staff.
- Overseeing all financial and operational planning and monitoring, including setting budgets and cashflow forecasts, financial analysis and reporting.
- Reviewing, producing and interpreting monthly and quarterly management accounts including but not limited to cashflow review, profit & loss reports and budget/forecast updates.
- Engaging in contract management activities including analysing contractual terms, identifying financial risks, and managing VAT.
Requirements for Head of Finance:
- Professional finance or accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- An analytical mindset with an ability to manage large amounts of data is essential in this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills which allow you to establish and maintain client relationships easily.
- Highly organised, with good use of initiative and a proactive approach towards work.
