Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Google Ads Specialist to review, optimise, and manage paid search activity. This role is ideally suited to a freelance consultant or part-time marketing professional with a proven track record of maximising return on investment from modest advertising budgets.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will assess our current Google Ads setup, identify opportunities for improvement, implement recommendations, and provide ongoing management and reporting. While experience with SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), and search visibility strategies would be beneficial, the primary focus of this role is ensuring our Google advertising spend delivers measurable business results.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of our existing Google Ads account and campaign structure
• Review current keyword strategy, targeting, bidding approach, and conversion tracking
• Identify opportunities to improve lead generation and maximise return on advertising spend
• Develop and implement recommendations to enhance campaign performance
• Monitor and optimise campaigns on an ongoing basis
• Ensure tracking, analytics, and reporting accurately measure campaign success
• Provide strategic guidance on paid search best practices and emerging opportunities

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns
• Strong understanding of PPC strategy, keyword planning, bidding models, and conversion optimisation
• Experience improving campaign performance within small to medium-sized budgets
• Ability to analyse data and translate findings into practical recommendations
• Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and related reporting tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Knowledge of SEO and emerging search optimisation techniques would be beneficial
