An established and highly respected Chartered financial planning firm is seeking a skilled and personable Financial Planner to join their friendly and professional team in Minehead. The firm prides itself on delivering clear, unbiased, and holistic financial advice, building long-term relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and expertise.

Role:

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced adviser or reviewer to step into an employed role, inheriting a warm and loyal client bank with a healthy pipeline of leads and growth opportunities. With assets under management of at least £30 million, the successful candidate will deliver exceptional service to existing clients while nurturing new relationships through referrals and professional connections.

Responsibilities of the Financial Planner include: - 

  • Deliver personalised financial advice and annual review meetings, both in-office and at clients’ homes.
  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients while growing the client bank through referrals and professional networks.
  • Provide holistic financial planning across pensions, investments, and protection, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice.
  • Collaborate closely with dedicated admin and paraplanning support to deliver a seamless client experience.

Requirements of the Financial Planner include: - 

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (Chartered status advantageous – study support available).
  • Proven track record in financial planning, client retention, and relationship management.
  • Strong technical knowledge, communication, and analytical skills with a client-first approach.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated professional seeking long-term development within a Chartered environment.

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 DOE, plus performance-related bonus (indicative 25–35%).
