The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role in the ongoing development of the finance function. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position offers a mix of operational responsibility, team leadership, and strategic contribution. The successful candidate will take ownership of monthly financial reporting, support process and systems improvements, and help shape the future structure of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional looking to step into a role with real impact and long-term progression.
Responsibilities for the Finance Manager include:
- Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Oversee and support finance team members, promoting development and strong performance.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, VAT returns, and audit requirements.
- Support wider business processes, systems development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal Finance Manager will have:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong statutory and management accounts experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop reporting tools and work confidently with ERP systems.
- Proven ability to mentor, support, and develop team members in a busy finance environment.
- Well organised, proactive, and comfortable building strong relationships across senior stakeholders.
