A specialist e-commerce solutions company, based in Exeter, is seeking a Finance and Facilities Manager to produce financial management reports for the business including management accounts, year-end accounts, budgets, and cashflows. Additionally, to support the company and its employees in all aspects of office administration and to provide support in HR administration under the guidance of the CFO / HR Director.

The role offers a hybrid working model; 1 day a week from home, Monday – Friday 9-5:30.

Responsibilities of the Finance and Facilities Manager:

  • Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and reporting pack
  • Manage the billing cycle, ensuring revenue is accounted for correctly
  • Handle accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, and payroll
  • Handle PAYE, Corporation Tax, and VAT returns
  • Liaise with company auditors
  • Assist in HR and finance functions by maintaining personnel records, arranging interviews, and updating financial documents
  • Support in the office administration requirements

Requirements of the Finance and Facilities Manager:

  • Minimum AAT Level 3/4 qualification
  • 2 to 5 years of experience at a Finance Manager level
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting package) and at least intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy to meet deadlines
  • A can-do attitude in a fast-paced setting
