Our client based in Exeter is looking for a proactive and hardworking In House Electrical Maintenance engineer to join their growing team. This is a great role for someone who is looking for a new challenge and wants to make the role their own and become part of the family.
What will you be doing as an In House Electrical Maintenance engineer?
- General maintenance and installation of all equipment in the factory.
- Ordering and managing spare parts
- Improving the reliability and working of the plant including working with Contractors where necessary
- Maintain all records relating to maintenance to include PAT and FAT testing and all insurance inspection reports.
- Attend regular meetings as and when required.
- Liaise with fellow employees and organise contractors as and when required
- Ensure RAMS are met when any contractor work has been carried out and considering for waste has been liaised with the EHS Officer.
Skills/Attributes to carry out Electrical Maintenance engineer role
- 17th, 18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, City and Guilds in Electrics
- Full UK Driving licence
- A fast thinking and positive attitude towards the working environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
