A rare and exciting opportunity within the fashion industry! Suitable for someone with merchandising or buying experience, and a love of fashion and luxury goods. As eCommerce Assistant, you will join the Product department and assist with new product launches, inventory management, and customer queries.
eCommerce Assistant responsibilities include: -
- Manage inventory across product ranges and replenish stock when required, working to achieve targets and profit margins
- Work on new product launches as well as the core range, customer bespoke ranges, and terminal stocks
- Assist with preparing data for sales forecasting & reporting
- Assist with eCommerce channels including B2B, B2C stores and Amazon
- Work with freight forwarders to ensure accurate clearance and delivery to both UK and international destinations
eCommerce Assistant requirements include: -
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a buying/merchandising role in an importing company, ideally within the fashion industry, luxury goods or similar
- Competent in use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly strong Excel skills
- Experience in extracting data and manipulating it in Excel to provide accurate and insightful business reports
- Problem-solving skills and assertiveness
