Role Overview:
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced corporate tax professional to play a key role in leading and developing a specialist corporate tax team. The role combines high level client advisory work with leadership responsibility, working closely with partners and colleagues across audit and accounts to deliver a joined up tax service. It offers genuine scope to influence strategy, mentor future leaders and shape the ongoing development of the corporate tax offering.
Responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Director:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering complex compliance and advisory services
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted senior adviser
- Manage and support a team of corporate tax specialists, providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Work closely with partners and other service lines, including acting as a key point of contact with HMRC where required
Requirements of the Corporate Tax Director:
- Significant experience in corporate tax, with a strong focus on large company compliance and advisory work
- CTA qualification, with ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high performing tax teams
- Strong communication skills, with confidence working at senior client and partner level
