Our client is an award-winning, independent Chartered Financial Planning and Discretionary Fund Management firm based in Exeter, providing bespoke wealth management, investment, pension and tax planning advice built on long-term client relationships. They are now looking to appoint a Client Services Administrator to support clients from their very first point of contact through to the completion of new business.
The Role
This is a key, client-facing role suited to a confident self-starter who enjoys variety and works well both independently and as part of a team. You will support the financial advisers, paraplanners, investment team and office manager, helping clients through each stage of their journey while maintaining accurate records and robust processes. The role offers genuine scope to grow, with the potential to develop into a more specialist area depending on interest.
Responsibilities for the Client Services Administrator:
- Support the advice and investment processes, liaising with providers by telephone, letter and email
- Communicate with clients by telephone, letter, email and face-to-face, answering queries wherever possible
- Book appointments and provide general PA support
- Prepare and clear the meeting room, greeting clients and offering refreshments
- Organise and co-ordinate the administration workload to ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Maintain the office CRM system, ensuring records are kept accurate, compliant and up to date
Requirements for the Client Services Administrator include:
- Confident, organised self-starter with excellent time management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both with clients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy across all aspects of the role
- Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong letter-writing skills, with high levels of literacy and numeracy
