Client Administrator (3513)

Ref: 3513

Salary Negotiable, DOE | Part-Time, Permanent | Chudleigh

Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run financial planning firm based in Chudleigh, supporting clients across the South West. This is a great opportunity for a highly organised Administrator to join a close-knit and friendly team, with full training and the chance to build a career in mortgages, protection and wealth management.

The Role
As Client Administrator, you will keep client cases moving smoothly from start to finish, look after an established client book, and provide wider back-office support across the business. This role would suit someone who is organised, enjoys managing several tasks and deadlines at once, and is comfortable using their own initiative. Experience in financial services is not essential. Strong administration skills and a positive attitude matter most, and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities for the Client Administrator:

  • Manage client cases from start to finish, keeping track of progress and deadlines
  • Complete and submit applications using providers' online systems
  • Chase outstanding information and keep cases moving forward
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling queries professionally and keeping clients and advisers updated
  • Support the financial advisers with administration, research and preparing client correspondence, including suitability letters
  • Keep accurate client files and records in line with compliance requirements

Requirements for the Client Administrator include:

  • Strong administration, organisational and case management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including standard office applications
  • A confident, positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Experience in mortgages, protection or financial services, or of using Intelliflo Office (IO), would be welcome but is not required

Benefits:

  • Salary negotiable, depending on skills and experience
  • Part-time, permanent role, working 24 to 28 hours over 5 days, with start and finish times to be agreed
  • Full training and support to develop your knowledge of mortgages, protection and wealth management
  • Free onsite parking
  • A supportive, close-knit team where you can grow and make a real difference

If you are an organised, people-focused administrator looking for a role where you can learn and develop within a friendly team, we would love to hear from you.
