An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join an award-winning organic soft drinks business.  This is a field-based role and you will have ownership of a wide range of customers from wholesalers, farm shops, bars and high-end hotels in the South West. 

Responsibilities include: -

  • Managing and developing new business in the West Country.
  • Managing and developing a select number of local wholesale businesses, premium retail outlets, food-led outlets as well as leisure and pub groups.
  • Management and ownership of account information including analysis and reporting.
  • Negotiating contractual agreements.
  • Manage and attend Customer Rara Days & trade shows.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Develop & deliver creative sales initiatives to help develop relationships with South West based accounts with high potential.
  • Ownership of the South West regional strategic plan.
  • Close collaboration with NPD and marketing team on activations and events with key customers across the South West.
  • Working with our high profile and landmark outlets to ensure maximum visibility for the Luscombe portfolio.
  • To talk knowledgeably and confidently about the Luscombe portfolio to current and prospective customers and their teams.
  • To host training and tasting events for trade and consumers across the region.

The ideal Business Development Executive will be:

  • Have a complete understanding of the sales and business development process across a multi-faceted account portfolio and have a strong track record of success.
  • Passionate about quality food and drink and interested in Artisan products.
  • Committed and motivated to achieve goals and exceed targets in a sales environment.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing own schedule.
  • Experience working within a target-driven and performance-related environment.
