Our client, a successful local business with a positive and vibrant culture is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team. As a Business Development Executive, you'll be the crucial link between our clients and their prospects. Your main responsibility will be to seek out new business opportunities, primarily through cold calling and other communication channels.
This role offers a Hybrid working model, with regular access to the Exeter Office.
Business Development Executive Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads and initiate contact with potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Present products/services, identify client needs, and suggest appropriate solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities
- Schedule meetings/calls for prospective customers, report progress regularly and manage tasks effectively in line with business objectives
Business Development Executive Requirements:
- Proven work experience in sales or account management within a B2B role (e.g., Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive)
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
