Key Responsibilities of the Audit Senior:
- Lead on the planning and completion of audit assignments, ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance.
- Undertake substantive and analytical audit procedures, often on-site with clients.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and identify key risks or issues for senior review.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
Key Requirements of the Audit Senior:
- ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified with strong technical knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS.
- Proven experience auditing clients across a variety of industries.
- Ability to plan, execute, and finalise audits with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience coaching others.
