Summary:
Our client is looking to recruit an Audit Semi Senior or Senior to join a dynamic, forward-thinking audit team based in Weston Super Mare. The role’s duties will include building relationships with a diverse range of clients as well as assisting in the multiple stages of conducting an audit. The ideal candidate will either be a part qualified or a qualified audit professional who is looking to further develop their career across the South West.
What will you be doing as an Audit Semi Senior/Senior?
- Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
- Understanding and presenting technical matters in a logical manner.
- Preparing tax computations for an audit client base.
- Assisting the audit team in developing the department, together with creating proposals.
- Conducting independent examinations on our charity client base.
- Undergoing reviews under solicitors’ accounts rules.
- Preparing financial statements for the audit client base ahead of the audit.
- Undertaking grant audits for a number of clients.
Skills/Qualifications of an Audit Semi Senior/Senior :
- An AAT, ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified accountant with sound prior experience of working within an audit and assurance team.
- Somebody with a good level of knowledge of both UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
- Someone with sound knowledge of Sage Accounts software (advantageous).
- An individual who is outgoing and confident with a proactive approach to work.
- Someone who is conscientious with strong organisational skills.
- A candidate who can work well co-operatively in a team environment as well as independently.
- An individual who is resilient and who can juggle tasks simultaneously.
