The Role:
The Audit Manager will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, lead a small team, and play a pivotal role in driving revenue, compliance, and client satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role for a qualified accountant who thrives in a collaborative, high-quality audit environment.
Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:
- Manage a varied audit portfolio, overseeing account preparation and corporation tax compliance
- Provide practical guidance on regulatory issues, including tax, VAT, UK GAAP, and governance
- Lead on client relationship management, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Support local partners on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Requirements of the Audit Manager:
- ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
- Experience auditing clients across multiple sectors
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP standards
- Proven ability to mentor, coach and manage junior team members
