The Role:   

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and confident Associate (NQ – 2 years PQE) to join the Real Estate Finance division in Exeter. This role has been created due to growth, reflecting the team’s continued success. You’ll be part of a high-performing group working on national and cross-disciplinary transactions for a diverse client base including registered providers, local authorities, and investors. 

Hybrid working is offered, with ideally three days per week in the office. 

Key Responsibilities of the Associate:   

  • Act as a key team member on large-scale real estate and portfolio transactions, providing expert legal advice and managing due diligence. 
  • Liaise directly with clients, agents, and professional counterparts to deliver seamless project management and service excellence. 
  • Take ownership of property finance and securitisation matters, ensuring timely and compliant transaction delivery. 
  • Contribute to innovation through the firm’s legal tech tools, supporting continuous improvement and client efficiency. 

Requirements of the Associate:  

  • Recently qualified to 2 years PQE, with demonstrable experience in Real Estate law. 
  • Confident, proactive, and capable of handling client relationships and managing files independently. 
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. 
  • Enthusiastic about professional growth, innovation, and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team.
