£14.50 PER HOUR | OFFICE BASED | ILMINSTER | 3-MONTH
We are seeking an Administrator to join a busy HR and security support function on a 3-month temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong database or HRIS experience who can make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
This is a varied and hands-on role, working 37 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days, fully office-based). You will be responsible for clearing a backlog of compliance checks, as well as supporting with HRIS and time & attendance system queries, ensuring accurate and efficient processes are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and clear a backlog of BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks.
- Ensure accurate verification and structured documentation of records.
- Work with the security and compliance team to ensure training and processes are followed.
- Support with HRIS queries and troubleshoot challenges relating to shift patterns and time & attendance.
- Analyse and improve system usage for UK shift/overtime requirements.
- Act as the link between the local HR function and global People/HRIS teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with HRIS systems or other complex databases (SAP/ERP advantageous).
- Highly methodical with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable receiving training and following set processes.
- Experience with time & attendance systems (ideally in a manufacturing/shift environment) desirable.
- HR experience is not essential – focus is on systems and database capability.
