Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrator to support smooth and efficient operations. This is a varied and pivotal role, offering the opportunity to manage key business functions within a professional, friendly and fast-paced environment.
This role is office-based, In Exeter, Monday – Friday 9 – 5:30 with 1 hour lunch.
The Responsibilities of the Administrator:
- Manage office communications, IT systems, and online documentation
- Oversees invoicing, payments, VAT returns, and assists with year-end accounts preparation
- Update company policies, manage insurance, office supplies, and ensures general office maintenance
- Process payroll, support recruitment activities, maintain employee records, and oversee health and safety procedures
The Requirements for the Administrator:
- Proven experience in administrative roles
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software such as Xero
- Experience in payroll processing, and an understanding of office health and safety procedures
