Our client, a rapidly expanding business in the organic food sector, is seeking a capable and proactive Accounts Manager to strengthen financial discipline and support the next phase of their exciting journey.
The Role:
This is a hands-on Accounts Manager position, reporting directly to the Managing Director and supporting the Finance Manager. The Accounts Manager will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and play a key role in enabling smart decision-making within a dynamic and growing e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping, cash flow and Xero-based accounts, including reconciliations
- Produce accurate financial reports and monthly management accounts
- Oversee payroll processing and all HMRC submissions (VAT, PAYE, CT)
- Collaborate with the MD on forecasting, performance analysis and Shopify financial integration
Requirements
- AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified with 3+ years’ experience in finance/bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Xero, Shopify, and Office 365, especially Excel (pivot tables & lookups)
- Proven experience with HMRC submissions and reconciliations via Government Gateway
- Comfortable working independently in a rural, office-based role
